ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Asad Umar has filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) against the imposition of section 144 in Federal Capital and siege of Imran Khan’s residence.
The PTI leader took stance in his filed petition that the government has blockaded Bani Gala, a residence of Imran Khan, since last few days. He stated that deputy commission has imposed the section 144 on October 27 and requested the court to issue orders for removal of the contingent of the police and FC from Bani Gala and to end the illegal siege of Imran’s residence.
Interior minister, IG Islamabad, Chief Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner have made party in filed petition.
