ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced to hold by-elections in NA-63 Jhelum-II on August 31, according to a schedule issued by the ECP on Monday. The candidates would be able to file their appeals to the tribunal against the decisions of the returning officers till August 8. The tribunal would take a decision regarding the appeals on August 10, an ECP spokesman said. The candidates can withdraw their nomination papers till August 12 and on the same day the final list of candidates would be published, he added. The seat was vacated due to the death of MNA Malik Iqbal Mehdi Khan.
