Islamabad: Around 1131 vacancies of teachers and lectures are lying vacant in educational institutions under Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) at present and education system is being run through appointment of teachers on Adhoc basis or additional charges
According to media reports six seats of grade 20 teachers, 30 of grade 19 and 57 seats of grade 18 have not been filled so far. An additional charge of these seats has been given to blue-eyed persons.
According to the documents available, around 491 seats are vacant in Grade 17, while 225 posts are vacant in Grade 16, while 322 seats are still vacant in Grade 14.
On the other hand, over 1000 posts of teachers and lectures are lying vacant since a long time. Furthermore, the orders of courts are also not being implemented toregularisee teachers working on daily wages for the past few years.
