DG KHAN: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) sent 16 accused of Chottu gang on physical a remand for 19 days on Monday. According to the prosecution, joint investigation team presented the accused including the ring leader Ghulam Rasool alias Chottu before the court, where Judge Wajahat Hussain Khan sent them on a physical remand for 19 days.
The accused were Ghulam Rasool, Nadir, Din Muhammad, Khalid, Ishaq, Mullan, Ghulam Haider, Hakim, Jumma, Rashid, Behraam, Bashir, Razzaq, Majid, Bhola and Qasim. The accused would be presented before the court on September 17. Tight security arrangements were made by the departments concerned, when Chottu gang was presented before the court. It is pertinent to mention here that Chottu gang had surrendered before the Pakistan Army during an operation in Kacha Jamal area of DG Khan. Four cases under Anti-terrorism Act have already been registered against Ghulam Rasool.
