ISLAMABAD – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday arrested two impersonators pretending themselves as officers of the NAB.
The nabbed culprits have demanded an amount of Rs 0.30 million from a government contractor for disposal of inquiry pending against him in NAB.
NAB caught the front man namely Jawad Ahmed Khan red handed while receiving an amount of Rs 200,000 as token money from the complainant. On his identification, the NAB also arrested the mastermind namely Syed Ali Jafar Naqvi who was holding multiple identity cards of various government departments including PARC.
The accused persons will be produced before the Accountability Court, Islamabad on Wednesday for obtaining physical remand.
